Stephen Adams has spent his entire life and career within just a few miles of McComb Fire Station No. 4, where he sat down last week to reflect on his 27 years in the fire service.
Adams, McComb’s fire chief, will retire at the end of November — “just in time for deer season,” he says with a wry grin.
