McComb Mayor Whitney Rawlings said this morning that if he is called on to break a tie on another vote regarding the state flag, he would choose to keep the flag down.
Selectmen voted Tuesday evening to remove the flag — the only state flag still incorporating the Confederate battle emblem — from city buildings and property.
