A proposed 1 percent food and beverage tax in McComb is dead in its tracks because members of the city board — and apparently the mayor — don’t unanimously support it.
The board discussed the tax, first introduced in the fall of 2015, at Tuesday’s work session after Selectman Ronnie Brock asked for an update.
