Hospitals hum 24 hours a day with the activity of doctors, nurses and other medical professionals. What Gina Handley hears at work, however, isn’t so much a hum as a roar.
Handley is a flight nurse, and the roar of a helicopter’s turbine engine is the background noise of her routine every day in her airborne office.
