In a battle of teams that just picked up their first wins of the year, North Pike was shut out during a 39-0 loss to Laurel on Friday in Summit.
The Jaguars (1-7, 1-2) were plagued by injuries and turnovers against the Golden Tornadoes (2-6, 2-1) as they were unable to manufacture much of an offensive rhythm.
