The New Orleans Saints had to wait a bit longer than most to get their guy, as Kellen Moore had a Super Bowl to win Sunday and league rules prohibit any formal signing of a coach until after his current season has expired.

South Pike boys powerlifting team wins 3A regional championship

Right after its girls team had done the same, the South Pike's boys powerlifting team took home top honors in its 3A regional meet Saturday.

The team is led by Eagle football head coach Tyrone Varnado, and South Pike's powerlifting program as a whole has made a habit out of earning hardware in recent years.
