Beginning its postseason run in the MHSAA 5A Playoffs, North Pike’s softball team cruised to a 10-0 run-rule win over Wayne County on Thursday in Summit.
The second-seeded Lady Jaguars (9-17, 5-3) jumped out to an early lead and never wavered against the third-seeded War Eagles in the first game of a best-of-three series.
