Tylertown native and current Arkansas Razorback Jordan Anthony made headlines Friday when he ran a 9.75 in the 100m quarterfinals of the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The time is the second-fastest mark in collegiate history and the ninth-fastest in world history.

Mississippi State announces Brian O'Connor as next head baseball coach

One of college baseball's most tradition-rich programs is turning to one of the sport's most decorated leaders to guide its next chapter.

Brian O'Connor, a 2024 Hall of Fame inductee and the all-time winningest coach at Virginia, has been named the 19th head baseball coach in Mississippi State history.

Parklane's Phiffer Crawford commits to play softball at Jones C.C.

Parklane rising senior Phiffer Crawford announced her commitment to further her softball career at Jones Community College last Wednesday.

Crawford took a visit to Ellisville last September. After her senior season in McComb, Crawford will join a Lady Bobcats program that boasts a combined record of 232-56 since 2021.
