MEADVILLE — Dandy Dozen defensive tackle Nathan Pickering had a 47-yard touchdown run with 8:43 left in the first quarter to help Seminary to a 55-10 win over Franklin County Friday night in Meadville.
The loss was the Bulldogs’ sixth straight at home, dating back to last season.
Seminary (1-1), coming off a loss to Collins last week, scored quick against the FBulldogs.
Running back Marquis Crosby scored two touchdowns in the first quarter for Seminary.
Franklin County senior kicker Wyatt Brumfield connected on a 37-yard field goal for the Bulldogs.
Crosby scored his third touchdown as time expired in the second quarter from 1 yard out to give Seminary a 27-3 advantage. Crosby had 130 yards on nine carries for the game.
Seminary Joseph Griffin scored on a 54-yard run in the fourth quarter for Franklin County.
The Bulldogs were held to less than 150 yards of total offense in the loss.
