Parklane Academy baseball swept all three games against University Academy of Central Louisiana with two home wins Friday.
The Pioneers (15-8) won Game 1 against CENLA 9-2 and Game 2 6-0.
Parklane put together a seven-run fourth inning in the 9-2 win.
Payton Yawn and Justin Johnston each hit one-run singles during the frame. Other runs came home on a hit by a pitch, a passed ball and a two-run error.
Johnston was 2 for 3 with one RBI.
Corey Lewis was 1 for 3 with one walk, two runs and two RBIs. Brett Lott pitched six innings for Parklane, giving up no runs, two hits and five walks while striking out seven.
Parklane took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second on an Ethan Wilkinson groundout.
In the 6-0 win, Parklane pitcher Lawson Myrick went six innings, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out eight.
The Pioneers scored four runs in the fourth inning to extend their advantage to 6-0.
Quartez Brown racked up two RBIs on one hit for Parklane. He singled in the third inning. Parklane scored two runs in the third on a Zach Thomas one-run double and Brown one-run single.
Parklane hosts Copiah Academy at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Game 1 of a three-game series.
