Rickera Martin and Breanna McKenzie blasted two home runs each to lead North Pike’s slowpitch team past Lawrence County, 14-6, on Thursday night.
Martin cracked a two-run home run and later added a three-run bomb, while McKenzie had a solo home run, a three-run home run, a double and a single. Both players finished the night with five RBIs.
Madison Bigner added a solo home run and a pair of singles for North Pike (13-4, 4-0).
Jordan Fitzgerald had a double, Lauren Wells and McKenzie Brock recorded two singles, Savannah Johnston had a double and single and Danayare Parks added a single.
McKenzie pitched the entire game for North Pike, allowing seven hits in the win.
North Pike returns to the field Saturday when it travels to Brookhaven for the Brookhaven Tournament.
North Pike plays Warren Central at 10:15 a.m., Wesson at 11:30 a.m. and wraps things up at 3:15 against Brookhaven.
