The Antonio Johnson, Stacey Mack and Antonio Cowart show continued Friday night at North Pike.
The trio accounted for 43 of McComb’s 80 points in a 80-50 route over North Pike.
Johnson was on fire from the floor, connecting on 6 of 8 shooting, including 3 of 4 from the 3-point line, en route to 15 points. Cowart wasn’t bad, either, draining four 3-pointers and finished with 15 points and five steals.
Mack added 13 points, pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds and blocked four shots.
McComb (10-3) shot a sizzling 74 percent from the field (32 of 43) and 10 different Tigers scored in the game. Shemar Williams was 6 of 7 from the field and finished with 12 points. Emmanuel Thompson added seven points.
In the girls game, McComb took care of North Pike with a 45-34 win.
McComb and North Pike battled throughout the game before the Lady Tigers used a late third quarter run to pull away.
“They had quite a few turnovers early on and we couldn’t capitalize on those turnovers,” McComb girls coach Angelia Johnson said. “In the second half, we did a much better job capitalzing on those.”
North Pike finished with 37 turnovers and McComb recorded 24 steals.
Angelina Earl led McComb (10-3) with 18 points, eight steals and two blocks. Angelique Earl chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds and Raneka Felder had six points, 10 rebounds and four steals.
Zana McCray led North Pike with nine points and Nicole Jefferson added seven.
