Bailey McLin scored the first Lady Bear run on a Dejean fielder’s choice.
The other run scored when Ladnier singled to score McLin.
Ladnier and Salley each had a hit while Roebuck had a stolen base in Game Two.
“Another great outing by Allie [Ladnier] in the circle. She gets a big win holding up a four-run lead from the first inning. We swung it pretty well early,” head coach Shea Johnson said. "The reset and refocus is that we have to continue to push and get better and not get complacent toward the end. It’s that part of the season, it’s long and this is what you build for. Our kids are up for that challenge 100%."
“Anytime you get a ranked win in our conference, you have got to really be excited about that,” Johnson added. “To be 10-4 in our conference after 14 games, I am super excited. That’s a big deal. We have several big games left and a big week next week.”
The Lady Bears (23-7, 10-4) travel to Senatobia on Friday to play Northwest in a doubleheader.
