Southwest softball traveled to Camden, Arkansas, on Friday and Saturday to play Southern Arkansas University Tech in a four-game series.
The Lady Bears won 10-0, 10-0, 7-6, and 10-1.
In Game One, Allie Ladnier pitched all 6.0 innings with seven strikeouts and no runs allowed.
Corin Talbot had four hits, three runs and four RBIs with two homeruns.
Bailey McLin and Alexis Dejean each had two hits and two RBIs.
Tristan Allen and Allie Ladnier had one RBI each.
Nine different Lady Bears recorded a hit in Game One.
Alexis Dejean, Jana Phillips, North Pike alum Kate Clements and Madalyn Ashford all stole a base in the contest.
Game One ended in a 10-0 run-rule for the Lady Bears.
Game Two was also a 10-0 Southwest victory.
Ballard Kraft pitched 5.0 shutout innings of the Game Two win. Kraft had five strikeouts with no hits or runs allowed.
Jana Phillips had three hits including a double and a homerun with two RBIs. Bailey McLin and Corin Talbot both had two hits and two RBIs.
Corin Talbot and Madalyn Ashford each had a double as well.
Alexis Dejean, Bailey McLin and Jana Phillips all had stolen bases.
McLin, Phillips and Ashford all scored two runs each.
In game three, the Lady Bears won 7-6 in a comeback win.
Ballard Kraft pitched 2.2 innings with two strikeouts.
Tye Boone pitched 2.2 innings with a strikeout and picked up the win for Southwest.
Mary Claire Salley pitched 1.2 innings with two strikeouts and picked up the save for the Lady Bears.
Tristan Allen had a homerun and three RBIs for the Lady Bears.
Lauryn Roebuck, Bailey McLin and Corin Talbot each had a hit in the contest.
Bailey McLin and Madalyn Ashford each had a stolen base.
Down 6-5 in the top of the sixth, Southwest tied the game when Bailey McLin singled on an error, scoring Skyler Turnage. Then, Corin Talbot grounded out to score Madalyn Ashford and take a 7-6 lead.
Game Four was another Southwest blowout, as the Lady Bears won 10-1.
Allie Ladnier pitched all 5.0 innings in game four with two strikeouts and only one run allowed.
Bailey McLin had three hits and three runs scored.
Corin Talbot, Allie Ladnier, and Kate Clements had two hits apiece.
Allie Ladnier and Tristan Allen both had homeruns in the game.

The Lady Bears won Game Four 10-1, going 4-0 on the weekend against SAU Tech.
“I think we are continuing to grow as a team! The team doesn’t panic when they get behind, they just keep fighting,” head coach Shea Johnson said. “This weekend was a culmination of a great nonconference schedule and finishing it 14-3 will hopefully have us ready for our conference opener next Saturday. Our girls played well in all areas of the game!”
The Lady Bears (14-3) will begin conference play on Saturday when they travel to Moorhead to play Mississippi Delta in a doubleheader.
