The Southwest Gun Club is currently hosting a membership drive to promote the organization's growth in the local area.
Beginning on Christmas Day and lasting through January 31, new members will have the normal $75 joining fee waived, meaning that they will only have to pay the annual $100 membership fee.
The SWGC hosts events every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. from its own range and also holds various meetings.
If interested in joining, individuals can contact the club's secretary/treasurer, Chris Boyd. Reaching Boyd via email (chrisboyd.swgc@gmail.com) is preferred, while he is also available at 601-248-1262 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Raymond Pepper acts as the club's Executive Officer.
*New Members: Potential members must be of legal age to own firearms, must have a valid state-issued ID and must not be a felon or otherwise prohibited from owning or possession firearms. All other usual restrictions and benefits apply.*
