The Southern Mississippi Titans youth football program is set to take part in a pair of championship games Saturday, with the 8U and 12U squads taking on the Byram Bulldogs at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson.
The 8U team will kick off at 1:30 p.m., while the 12U team will follow them at 4:30.
Director and coach Daniel McGaffeny asks for the community to come out and support these kids as they go for glory this weekend, with sheriff Wally Jones even providing a police escort for the trip.
If you can't make it to Jackson, McGaffeny & Co. would ask that you come see the teams off at the McComb High School parking lot at 10 a.m.
