While football players receive much of the attention on Signing Day, other students are participating in the annual festitivites as well.
And at South Pike, Cortavion Gooden, Paris Martin, Ty’keria Tate and De’Breylon Lee all put pen-to-paper with their respective schools.
Gooden is heading to Blue Mountain Christian University on a full scholarship for powerlifting.
Martin and Tate will each be attending Southwest Mississppi C.C. to join the Bears' cheer team.
And lastly, Lee earned a prestigious academic scholarship to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta.
