Coming off a wildly successful 2024 campaign that saw it finish with a 9-2 overall record and host a playoff game, South Pike is looking to build off that in 2025.
The school recently revealed its football schedule for the upcoming season:
- Aug. 22: @ Canton (Jamboree)
- Aug. 29: vs. Bay Springs
- Sept. 5: vs. Natchez
- Sept. 12: @ Mendenhall
- Sept. 19: @ Greenville Christian Academy
- Sept. 26: vs. Jefferson County (Homecoming)
- Oct. 10: vs. Lawrence County* (Senior Night)
- Oct. 17: @ Poplarville*
- Oct. 24: vs. Columbia*
- Oct. 31: @ McComb* (Green and Gold Bowl)

Tyrone Varnado's program made the jump back up to the 4A level this year, which means the Eagles are in the same region as arch rivals McComb as well as Poplarville, Columbia and Lawrence County.
The annual Green and Gold Bowl will notably take place on Halloween night and is each team's season finale.
This 4A Region 6 is being tabbed as a true gauntlet, with every one of the teams having qualified for last season's MHSAA playoffs.
