With the Women's College World Series already well underway and the men's bracket set to begin play this week, a handful of regional schools have qualified for the prestigious postseason tournaments.
The field for the 2025 Men's College World Series was unveiled Monday, with regional action set to begin Friday.
Following a late-season surge that saw it qualify for the SEC Tournament title game, Ole Miss will enter the bracket as the No. 10 overall seed and will thus host a regional in Oxford.
The Rebels are joined by Georgia Tech (No. 2), Western Kentucky (No. 3) and Murray State (No. 4). Should Ole Miss emerge from the double-elimination bracket over the weekend, it would face the winner of the Athens regional that features Georgia, Duke, Oklahoma State and Binghampton.
LSU managed to one-up its rivals despite bowing out of the SEC Tournament early, as the Tigers slot in as a No. 6 seed. They will host the Baton Rouge regional that features Dallas Baptist (No. 2), Rhode Island (No. 3) and Arkansas-Little Rock (No. 4).
The victor of that region would clash with the representative from the Clemson regional, which features those other Tigers, West Virginia, Kentucky and USC Upstate.
Southern Miss rounds out the local colleges that will host regionals, as the Golden Eagles secured the No. 16 overall seed. They'll welcome Alabama (No. 2), Miami (No. 3) and Columbia (No. 4) to Hattiesburg and will hope to face the winner of the Nashville regional, which includes top-seeded Vanderbilt, Louisville, East Tennessee State and Wright State.
After it fired head coach Chris Lemonis in late April, Mississippi State did manage to qualify for the CWS as well. The Bulldogs will participate in the Tallahassee regional as a No. 3 seed and look to emerge from a group that includes Florida State (No. 1), Northeastern (No. 2) and Bethune-Cookman (No. 4).
Meanwhile, the Women's College World Series will take place in Oklahoma City this weekend, and Ole Miss is making its first-ever appearance in the bracket. The Lady Rebels managed to upset Arizona in the Tucson regional and then narrowly beat Arkansas in a best-of-three series on the road in the Supers.
Now, Ole Miss is the only unranked team remaining out of the eight schools left in the field. It will compete in a double-elimination bracket with Texas Tech, Oregon and UCLA, with the Lady Rebs' first game set for 6 p.m. Thursday against the Lady Red Raiders.
