The Pike County 7U All-Stars navigated their way through the weekend's district tournament to come out on top at the Dixie Youth Baseball Fields in Summit.
The members of the team include: Baylen Hunter (33), Caden Johnston (6), Mark Hess (99), Anterio Dyson (1), Chance Foil (44), Trevar White (4), Dontavious Cain (5), Townes Gibson (7), Kase Price (16), Kashius Leopold (2) and Wyatt Brister (15).
The team is coached by Chris Hunter, Danielle Johnston, Trevan Johnston and Niki Gibson.
"The boys played their hearts out and worked their positions just as we did in practice," Hunter said. "The hotter it got the better they played. We had some very good competition with four back-to-back games since 10 am that morning, so they all worked hard and did their best."
The 8U age group competed in a district tournament as well.
