Basketball season rolled on in Pike County this weekend, as a handful of local squads were in action.

In addition, McComb's teams hosted Vicksburg at the same time. The Lady Tigers picked up a commanding 60-43 win over the visitors while the boys side fell by a score of 60-48.
And on Saturday, Parklane's squads welcomed Columbia Academy for a pair of games. The Lady Pioneers bounced back from a mid-week loss to MRA by cruising to a 71-39 win, moving them to 12-2 on the season.
Meanwhile, the boys team brought a six-game losing streak to a halt when it secured a 54-37 victory over the Cougars. The Pioneers next welcome Lamar School for a double-header Friday, and the EJ will be covering those matchups.
