It doesn’t seem that long ago when golfer Tiger Woods was dominating his sport, winning 14 major tournaments in just 12 years.
But his last major victory was in 2008, and since then he’s had a tough time. His marriage fell apart in the most public way imaginable, and he’s undergone surgery several times in the past few years, as his body has not been able to withstand the physical strain of professional golf. Now, this week, there is news of his arrest for being behind the wheel of a vehicle while under the influence of painkillers.
At age 41, it’s obvious that Woods’ best golfing days are behind him. But he’s still a young guy, and there are plenty of other ways for him to do good things. Hopefully he’ll find one.
