Louise Peterson, 72, of Amite, La., passed away April 29, 2017, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, La.
Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite and continues there Wednesday from 8 a.m. until services at 11. The Revs. Hill and Tullis will officiate, and burial will be in Alford Cemetery in Kentwood, La.
Mrs. Peterson was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Magnolia. She was the daughter of Charles Currier and Cosma Birch Hodges.
Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Clyde Blades; and a brother, Woody Hodges.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Melvin Peterson; two daughters, Monta Graves and husband Dane and Rachael Peterson; her grandchildren, Jessica Millet and husband Brandon, Daniel Graves and wife Roxanna, Dustin Graves, Brandi Guttuso and husband Frankie, Brittany Frierson and husband David and Cody Hoover and Justin Blades; her brother, Charles “Neil” Currier; and a sister, Madeline McElveen.
