Dorothy Jean Rimes Beard, 96, of Tylertown passed from her earthly home into the arms of her Savior on Sept. 21, 2025.
Visitation is 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home of Tylertown, with services there at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Dorothy was born on June 19, 1929 in Magnolia to Alcus Rimes and Estelle Potts Rimes.

Gill Andrew Prestridge, 65, of Summit passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025 in King’s Daughters Medical Center of Brookhaven.
Graveside services are 10 a.m. Friday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery of Bogue Chitto. Burt Sasser will officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home of Summit is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Prestridge was born Monday, Jan. 18, 1960 in McComb.

Sandra Spurlock, 71, of McComb passed away on Sept. 23, 2025 in Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
