Arie L. Cameron, 102, of McComb passed away on Sept. 25, 2025 in her residence.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Summit Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Robert Vick will officiate. The prior obituary listed the incorrect date of services.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery of Summit with Cook’s Enterprise Funeral Home of McComb in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 7, 1923 in Amite County, the daughter of Henry Leggett and Arie Loucresey Leggett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, E.B. Cameron; three daughters, Margie J. Thornton, Shirley J. Harris and Barbara A. Cameron; one son, Michael C. Cameron; two brothers, Rev. John Leggett and James Leggett; six sisters, Josie Mae Martin, Jessie Martin, Sarah Allen, Elmira Crockett, Mary Jackson and Renabell McLewee; two sons and daughters-in-law, E.B. Camon Jr. (Dorothy) and Lucius Cameron (Myrtle); 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends.
