Jamie N. Cooper, 51
Jamie Nicole Cooper, 51, of McComb passed away on Nov. 2, 2025 in the University of Mississippi Medical Center of Jackson after a short but extremely hard-fought battle with cancer.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb.
Jamie was born on Feb. 18, 1974 to the late Raymond and Carolyn Kesinger. She graduated from Hattiesburg High School in 1992.
She was a loving mother not only to her children, but to any child that came into her home. She had an amazing sense of humor and there was never a dull moment. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Kesinger and father Raymond Kesinger; one aunt, Susan “Q.” Fults; one cousin, Caleb J. Chatelain; and a special friend, Denna Fortenberry.
She is survived by three sons, Derek Allen, Dylan Cooper, and Andrew Cooper all of McComb; two nieces, Kelsi Roberts and husband Patrick, and Alexis Golmon; numerous special friends including Pearl Ray Allen, Timothy S. Cooper, Debra Townsend, Kristy Bates Newman, Jacki Carter and husband Jamie, and Charles “Cotton” Gorman, along with many others from working at the Claiborne of McComb.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Allen, Dylan Cooper, Andrew Cooper, Pearl Ray Allen, Timothy Cooper, and Blake Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in memory of Jamie Cooper.
The family and friends would like to thank the entire staff at UMMC for everything they did. They were amazing through the whole process.
