Alice Faye Williams, 51, of McComb, departed this earthly life Aug. 7, 2024, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Visitation is 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Chapel C.O.G.I.C., with services there at 2 p.m. Elder Omega Wilson will officiate. Elder Paul Jones is pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Peoples Undertaking Co.
Alice was born March 14, 1973, in McComb, the daughter of Rose Anders and John Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Williams; father, John Jones; parents, Sam and Alma Jones, who raised her; brother, Ray Charles Jones; and nephew, La’Vencent Magee.
She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Eddie Williams of McComb; three daughters, Diane Williams, April Williams and Tuesday Anders, all of Magnolia; 11 grandchildren; 10 sisters, Beatrice Smith, Carolyn Forrest, Sherry (Edgar) Smith, Dorothy Simmons, Willie Green, Ellen Jones, Mary Jones and Mary (Joseph) McNabb, all of Magnolia, Carrie Brown of Los Angeles and Joann Jackson of Denham Springs, La.; 12 brothers, Oscar (Sandra) Osbey of Lawton, Okla., Samuel (Tammy) Jones, Paul (Mary) Jones, David Lee Jones, Kessie Jones, Roosevelt Jefferson, Reginald Varnado and Klennis (Quiona) Anders, all of Magnolia, Johnny Anders of Houston, Texas, Clinton (Helen) Anders of Gloster, John Reed Jones of Ocean Springs and Cedric Anders of Monticello; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bobby Wayne Stinson Jr., 34, of Decatur, Ala., died Aug. 9, 2024, at his residence.
Visitation is noon Saturday at Progress Baptist Church, with services there at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born Dec. 30, 1989, in Hattiesburg.
“BJ” loved making people happy, and his smile was infectious. He was a very caring and giving person, full of manners, and loved God.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby Stinson Sr. (Cynthia) and their son, Waden; a stepsister, Bridgette Salvant; mother, Stephanie Strahan Herrington (David); sister, Haley Stinson; and half-sister, Robin Phillips DeVries (JB).

Janie Mae McKnight Roberts, 65, of Houston, Texas, died there Aug. 11, 2024, at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Anderson Funeral Home, 352 W. Natchez Road, Gloster. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Damascus Baptist Church, 3717 Perry Road, Gloster. Pastor David Veals will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Gloster.
Mrs. Roberts was born May 4, 1959, in New Orleans, the daughter of Beigin (Ike) and Bessie McKnight.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her husband, Major Roberts; a daughter, Janisha Smith; eight siblings and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
