Master Carter Young, 7, “Gone too Soon,” passed away on March 15, 2025, in Kokomo.
Visitation hour will be 11 a.m. Sunday at West Holy Hill Church of God in Christ of Jayess, with graveside services at noon in the church cemetery. Pastor Terry Bridges will officiate. Craft-Ginn Funeral Chapel of Tylertown is in charge of arrangements.
Carter was born Aug. 28, 2017, in Hattiesburg.

Wilford Robinson Sr.
Wilford Robinson, Sr., 90, of Tylertown transitioned on Monday, March 17, 2025, as a result of injuries sustained during the March 15 tornado.
Visitation is 1 p.m. Tuesday at Washington Funeral Home of Tylertown, with services there at 2 p.m. Pastor Stacy Robinson will render the eulogy and lead the interment service. Burial will be in Tylertown Cemetery II, located on High School Avenue.
Mr. Robinson was born on Aug. 1, 1934, the son of Paul and Trudy Smith Robinson.

Wayne Reid “Pete” Smith, 79, of McComb, passed away March 19, 2025, at his residence.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Silver Creek Baptist Church of McComb, with funeral services there at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Donnie Coker and the Rev. Wayne Hall will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Sharkey Funeral Home of Summit in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home of Summit and continues 10 a.m. Saturday at Mars Hill Church of God in Christ, with services there at 11 a.m. Superintendent Stanley Quinn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
