McComb police are investigating a reported shooting Thursday night.
Shots were reported fired on Gerald Drive near 11th Street between 8:30 and 9 p.m.
“Officers actually arrived at Dana Drive where some people were outside who had heard the shots,” said Detective Lt. Scote Renfroe of the McComb Police Department. “They had heard several shots and saw a vehicle, either silver or white in color, speed away from the area. Officers on the scene, including myself, found several shell casings on the ground. No one was hurt and no property was damaged.”
Renfroe said there were no leads on the shooting as of Friday afternoon.
"We urge the public to always report anytime they hear gunshots like this to call us immediately," he said.
