Louisiana and Mississippi lawmen have arrested a third suspect wanted in the slaying of Cort Gatlin.
Pike County sheriff’s chief investigator Greg Martin said this morning that Exzavion Reed, 25, 1112 Warren St., McComb, was arrested Thursday night in Covington, La., by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force, Covington police, St. Tammany Parish sheriff’s deputies and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agents.
Reed faces charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder and will face an extradition hearing before being transferred to Mississippi. In the meantime, he remains in jail in St. Tammany Parish, La.
Anthony J. Dauden and Bridget A. Dillon have also been arrested and charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Dauden and Dillon are both being held in the Pike County jail on $500,000 cash bond.
A fourth suspect, Jeremy McElvin, the suspected shooter, is wanted in connection to the murder as well.
