A 74-year-old McComb man was killed Sunday when he was struck by a car while he was attempting to cross Presley Boulevard.
David Hood, 310 Monroe St., was pronounced dead at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, police said.
According to police reports, the accident occurred about 9:48 p.m. near Wallace Carpet Barn.
The driver of the car, Johanna McGregor, called 911 and told dispatchers that she had struck a man crossing the street and that he was not moving.
No charges have been filed, and the accident remains under investigation.
