Walthall County Sheriff’s Department needs the public’s help in locating a man who authorities said shot into a home, hitting one man in the arm and a juvenile in the chest Friday night.
Garraeth Bickham, also known as “Snug,” is a person of interest in the case, Sheriff Kyle Breland said.
Breland said the incident happened around midnight Friday at a mobile home on Doc Magee Loop.
He said Travis Guy, Magee Hill Road, Tylertown was hit in the arm, and a 14-year-old girl was shot in the upper right side of her chest.
Breland said the juvenile was inside the home when the shooting occurred.
He said Guy was transported to Walthall General Hospital, where he was treated and released. He said the 14-year-old girl was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The girl’s family told sheriff’s officials that she was released from the hospital on Tuesday.
Breland said the investigation is ongoing, and no motive has been established.
No one has been charged in the incident.
