The Pike County Sheriff’s office is searching for a man who allegedly stole a credit card.
Shirley Barnes called deputies when she discovered her card had been overdrawn and carried a negative balance.
Investigators traced the transactions to an ATM at the Summit Food Mart at 800 Summit Street.
Using surveillance footage, investigators identified Kendarius Osbey at the ATM withdrawing money and stuffing it in his back pocket before leaving the store.
Chief Investigator Chris Bell said the timestamp on security footage matches the account’s records.
Osbey is charged with credit card fraud and remains at large. Bell said investigators believe he is in the McComb area.
In an unrelated matter, deputies said 25-year-old Travonta Bouie died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound Friday morning on River Ridge Road near Sanderson Farms. Bell said the man was driving his blue Ford Mustang to work and pulled over when the shooting happened.
