A registered sex offender with a previous molestation conviction from Louisiana faces new child molestation charges in Magnolia following his arrest there Friday.
Kenneth Nunnery, 54, 143 Robb St., Magnolia, has been charged with one count of child molestation.
Magnolia Police Chief Ray Reynolds said Nunnery, who also goes by the alias “Twin” Nunnery, was arrested around 6 p.m.
Police aren’t releasing other details about the crime, including the victim’s age or if there’s any personal connection between Nunnery and the victim.
Nunnery was convicted in December 2000 in Jefferson Parish, La., for molestation of a juvenile and sexual battery.
He is being held in the Pike County jail. No bond has been set.
