McComb police continue to make headway on a recent convenience store robbery, saying Monday that they have identified a third suspect.
Police are looking for Darlene Lilliemae Turner, 19, of Gulfport, who they say was the driver of the get-away vehicle in the Feb. 5 robbery of the Blue Sky convenience store, and another suspected robber, Deavonta Barnell Edmond, 22, of Gulfport.
Fredrick Quin, 37, of Gulfport, surrendered to police after he had been named a suspect in the robbery.
He is being held in the Pike County jail on $1 million bond.
Police allege that on the night of the robbery, Turner was parked south of the store in the parking lot.
Video surveillance shows two other suspects exiting the dark passenger car, then running back to it just after the stick-up. The car then left the scene headed south on Hart Road.
Edmond is seen in the footage pointing what appears to be a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk, and Quin is standing next to Edmond.
Detective Deska Varnado said Edmond is believed to have returned to the Gulfport area, and McComb police are working with law enforcement there to apprehend him.
Police said Quin helped investigators identify Turner, a black female who is 5-foot-3, weighs about 120 pounds and has short dread-locked hair.
Her criminal record includes charges of malicious mischief, possession of cocaine base, contempt of court, obstructing traffic and obscene electronic communication, according to police records.
Detectives said it’s still unclear if the trio participated in two other recent armed robberies, including one at the VK Quick Mart on Presley Boulevard and another at the B-Line Marathon on North Broadway the same night of the Blue Sky robbery.
The suspects’ relationship to one another is unclear, Varnado said.
