NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms can bring flooding downpours, hail and
damaging wind gusts to northern and central Wisconsin,
southeastern Minnesota, much of Iowa, northwestern Illinois,
northern Missouri and northeastern Kansas tomorrow. In
addition to those hazards, a tornado cannot be ruled out in
central and eastern Iowa and southwestern Wisconsin.
Elsewhere, thunderstorms could cause flooding in far
southern portions of the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas.
The Ohio Valley and mid-Atlantic will remain hot, although
spotty afternoon thunderstorms may bring temporary relief to
the heat in the mid-Atlantic. Thunderstorms will be more
widespread in New England. Mainly afternoon thunderstorms
are expected along the Southeast coast, especially on the
Florida Peninsula and southeastern Georgia.
