NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain and showers will continue across the East Coast states
as the cold front moves eastward across the region tomorrow.
Farther south, there can be a rumble of thunder from North
Carolina to southern Georgia. Snow can mix with rain mainly
across the higher elevations in the interior Northeast,
while plain snow can fall in Maine. A few snow flurries can
develop during the afternoon from southern Wisconsin and
northern Illinois to Michigan. Mild conditions will continue
across much of the southern Plains, and temperatures will
continue to trend above historical averages for late
February. Across much of the western and center of the
country, dry weather will continue as a zone of high
pressure spreads across the West, with the exception of a
snow shower or two in the mountains of Montana and Wyoming.
