NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will track northeastward into Canada tomorrow,
bringing the end of heavy rain across the Northeast. In its
wake, rain and snow showers will continue across the region.
Farther west, snow will begin tapering off to flurries from
Indiana to Michigan. Another storm will bring some snow from
North and South Dakota to Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
This storm will also push much colder air into the northern
Plains and Rockies. Across the West, showers and
high-elevation snow will continue across much of the region.
Steadier rain can focus across Central California. Snow can
become heavy at times across Oregon, Idaho, Northern
California and northern Nevada, leading to dangerous travel
conditions, especially in the mountains. Dry weather will
return across much of the southern parts of the nation.
