NATIONAL SUMMARY
The latest in a stream of storms will continue to push
onshore in the Pacific Northwest tomorrow, bringing rain to
the coast from Washington into Northern California. Snow,
some heavy at times, will pile up through the Cascades, with
widespread high-elevation snow showers stretching across the
Intermountain West from Idaho as far south and east as
northern New Mexico. Farther east, an advancing storm will
bring rain from southern Maine through western Pennsylvania
while snow mixes with rain across northern New England. At
the same time, showers and heavy, gusty thunderstorms will
soak the Gulf Coast states. Some storms may turn severe from
southern Alabama through the Florida Panhandle and
southwestern Georgia. These storms can bring heavy
downpours, damaging winds and even an isolated tornado.
