NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rainy weather will return to western portions of the
Northeast tomorrow. A cold front will bring this rainy
weather from New York through extreme southeastern
Louisiana. Sporadic showers will stretch back into parts of
the Midwest, including from Minnesota through northern
Illinois. A few showers and storms will gather along the
southern Atlantic coast, especially from coastal South
Carolina and across much of the Florida coast. Farther to
the east, Philippe will spin north of Bermuda over the
Atlantic. A sweep of much cooler air will expand over the
Great Plains and Midwest. Much of the West will be dry and
sunny. The strong warming trend will continue in the western
third of the nation with dry weather also expected to last
into the weekend.
