NATIONAL SUMMARY
For most of the nation tomorrow will be a quiet weather day
as far as precipitation. However for areas in western and
upstate New York and in the upper peninsula of Michigan
there will be an impressive lake effect snow event.
Locations downstream of Lake Ontario could see 1-2 feet out
of this event while places in Michigan could see near a
foot as well. The lake effect snow bands will create
whiteout conditions, making travel extremely difficult.
Elsewhere, showers are expected in Florida and then on the
other side of the country, rain and snow will move into
Washington state tomorrow. Frigid air will move into North
Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, leading to high
temperatures below zero.
