NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms diving southward through Arkansas, eastern
Louisiana, Mississippi and southwestern Alabama could bring
damaging winds, flash flooding and hail tomorrow. In
Minnesota, western Wisconsin and northern Iowa,
thunderstorms can bring hail and damaging winds. Late in the
afternoon, thunderstorms in eastern Wyoming, southwestern
South Dakota and the Nebraska Panhandle will erupt and also
be capable of producing hail and damaging winds. Those
storms will expand across more of Nebraska overnight.
Meanwhile, thunderstorms will continue in New England, any
of which could produce drenching downpours. Much of Montana
can have thundershowers, while thundershowers dot the Sierra
Nevada in the afternoon. Extreme heat will bake the southern
Plains.
