The Nation's Weather for Thursday, December 23, 2021
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm is expected to continue drenching the western third
of the nation with rain and snow tomorrow, particularly
across California, disrupting holiday travel and last-minute
shopping as cool air sweeps through. To the east, snow is
anticipated to fall from northern Minnesota to parts of New
York state and Pennsylvania despite conditions warming
slightly. Elsewhere across the nation, dry weather is in the
forecast as mild to even warm air expands across the Plains
and Tennessee Valley. South Florida is likely to be dry and
pleasant; this will be a big change from the recent gusty
storms. Brisk conditions are expected to move into New
England ahead of snow and snow showers that could arrive
tomorrow night.
