The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, March 21, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will bring another round of heavy rain and
mountain snow to California tomorrow. The heaviest rain will
likely fall along the coast and across much of Southern
California. This robust rainfall can lead to significant
flooding issues, especially given the already saturated
ground conditions across the area. Throughout the day,
lower-elevation rain and higher-elevation snow will spread
over a significant portion of the southwestern United
States. Elsewhere, a separate storm will bring snow to
portions of the northern Plains and Midwest, with some rain
for the Mississippi Valley. Across the East, dry conditions
are in store with many locations set to experience a
noticeable warmup compared to the previous day.
