NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm system in the eastern United States will quickly
move offshore during the day tomorrow, with showers in the
Northeast coming to an end by early afternoon. Farther
south, dry conditions will be in place from the Southeast
through the Midwest and Plains. Meanwhile, showers will
continue during the first half of the day in Southern
California, with steadier and heavier rain across New Mexico
and Arizona. Farther north, accumulating snow is expected in
northern Arizona, as well as the central and southern
Rockies. Some lower-elevation cities, such as Salt Lake
City, may have a mix of rain and snow during the day.
