The Nation's Weather for Friday, December 16, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Occasional snow and flurries will occur throughout much of
the northern Plains and Great Lakes tomorrow. Steadier snow
will blanket upstate New York and central New England. Rain
is expected along the central and southern New England
coasts, with a mix of rain and snow in between. A cold front
pushing southward through Florida will cause thunderstorms
to rumble through the southern part of the state. A couple
of snow showers could occur in the central Rockies,
especially in the morning. The northern Plains will be very
cold, with blowing snow still a concern in the wake of the
recent blizzard. The rest of the nation can expect a dry
day, although rain may begin to develop along the Texas
coast at night. Bitterly cold air is likely to move into the
northern Rockies and northern Plains late this weekend.
