The Nation's Weather for Saturday, December 3, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front will bring showers to much of the eastern
quarter of the country tomorrow, with the exception of
Florida and southern Georgia. High winds are expected along
and in the wake of the cold front in much of the Northeast
and northern mid-Atlantic. Behind the front, much colder air
will freeze the northern Plains. An area of showers will
blossom during the afternoon hours in southern Arizona and
southern New Mexico. This may develop into a steadier rain
and spread eastward into Oklahoma and northern Texas
overnight. Meanwhile, rain and mountain snow will bring
beneficial moisture to Northern and Central California. A
bit of snow is expected to move northward through eastern
Nevada, Utah and western Colorado; however, very minimal
accumulations are likely.
