The Nation's Weather for Friday, December 2, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow will shift from the northern and central Rockies into
the northern Plains and Upper Midwest tomorrow. Even as the
snow comes to an end in the Rockies, strong winds will
remain in place. Meanwhile, a new storm will come ashore in
the Pacific Northwest. Cold air will remain in place,
allowing snow to fall almost to sea level. The arrival of
warmer air will gradually cause snow levels to rise. After a
seasonably cold morning, a milder afternoon is expected in
the Ohio Valley, Northeast and mid-Atlantic. A few showers
may linger early in the day in the mountains of Southern
California, but most of the state should be dry. A cold
front could also cause a few showers to dampen South
Florida. The rest of the Southeast is forecast to have a dry
day.
