NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain associated with Nicole will be ongoing in much of the
Northeast to start the morning tomorrow, some of which may
be heavy at times. Rain will slowly come to an end by late
morning outside of New England, with conditions turning
sharply colder as a cold front sweeps through the area. This
cold air will allow for snow or a rain and snow mix across
portions of the Great Lakes, as well as the Ohio Valley.
Accumulations will be confined to the northern Great Lakes.
Very cold air will be in place across the northern Plains,
with high temperatures likely failing to reach 20 degrees
for much of North Dakota and eastern Montana. Light rain
will also move onshore in Northern California.
