The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, November 2, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
In the West, a major storm will spread rain, mountain snow
and some of the coldest air so far this season farther south
and east tomorrow. Steady snow is possible at high
elevations of the Northwest and even into parts of Northern
California. Ahead of this disturbance, southerly winds will
keep the center of the country quite warm with more sunshine
than clouds expected for many. However, more clouds are
possible in parts of the northern and central Plains and a
few showers could scrape parts of the Texas Gulf Coast.
Above-average temperatures will also extend across much of
the eastern half of the country as residents of the
Northeast and New England finally see more sunshine. The
Southeast will be largely dry, but afternoon thunderstorms
could break out across parts of the Florida Peninsula.
